After the shock (pardon the pun) of being told that my house wiring is effectively condemned, I left the plumbers and builder to get on with sorting out trenches and plumbing. Came back this evening to see what’s been done.
Irish Water say they need about a day of notice to do the new meter and hook-up to the water main. The pipe in the trench is my problem and cost.
First half of the trench, and a new skip View from the other side Towards the house, there’s a concrete slab All the rubble is in the skip Access hatch for capping the rads Access hatch for investigating Access hatches for investigating Discussion with the plumbers tomorrow about the piping Pipes and wires There used to be plumbing there.. it’s been cut Cleaned up a bit Shiny!
