Having finally managed to pick a tile (Revigres, Planet Offwhite for the floor, Nimbus Offwhite for the walls) for the new ensuite, I arranged for it to be tiled this weekend just gone. The tiler was recommended by one of the plumbers who’d been on site, and I can’t say that I’m disappointed.
There’s a small fix to be made; a hole the electrician needs is too small, and will be resolved on Friday.
Over €1000 of tiles View through the door; the accent wall The shower/vanity wall Around the shower tray Neat space for the sink piping The accent wall
The tiler suggested gunmetal grout instead of light grey, and I think he was right.
The plumbers need to adjust the trap for the shower tray slightly, according to the tiler. Something for the second fix work. The tiles are 12mm thick, and when backed on the adhesive, make the shower tray almost like a walk-in shower/wet-room style.
